BizEasy is a small app with a simple job: help people who work for themselves send invoices on time, chase what they're owed, and keep their books ready for the accountant. Here's why we built it.
Thirty years, two lessons
We've spent the last 30 years running businesses. Quality work, delivering on time and answering quickly all matter, and every small business owner knows that. But two other things turned out to matter just as much, and they're the ones that get pushed to the end of the day.
- Raise the invoice on time, and follow up. Cash flow keeps a small business alive. Most of the time, a small business doesn't close because the work was bad. It closes because the money didn't arrive in time.
- Keep your books ready. When your accountant or the tax office asks, you should be able to hand everything over in minutes, not spend a weekend digging through email, chat messages and a drawer full of bills.
Neither of these is hard. They just need to be easy enough to do every day.
Why not the apps already out there?
We tried them. Most are built for finance teams, not for the person doing the work:
- Tricky to use. Too many screens and settings just to send one invoice.
- Not made for the phone. Built for a desktop, even though most of us run our business from our pocket.
- Full of accounting terms. Words only an accountant understands, for jobs anyone should be able to do.
- Another monthly bill. Subscriptions that keep charging whether you invoice ten clients or one.
- Your data on someone else's server. Your clients, prices and income, stored somewhere you can't see.
What we promise
If a feature makes the everyday job harder, it doesn't go in. Plain words, few taps.
No account and no cloud of ours. Read the privacy policy; it's short because there's little to say.
No subscription. A small one-time fee unlocks Pro for life.
